Parent University Session – Focus On Fluency

November 16, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Does your child’s math homework look like a foreign language? Do you often wonder why your child is learning math in a different way than you did? Are you interested in learning the math strategies your child is learning at school so you can help your child at home?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, please join us for our Parent University series. You may choose to attend all the sessions in the series or pick individual sessions. Childcare will be provided by Niagara-Wheatfield High School Students and refreshments will be provided. All sessions will last from 6 to 7:30 pm. Please fill out the attached sheet and return to school by October 7, 2016.

Focus on Fluency Thursday, November 17, 2016. Errick Road – This session will focus on the concept of fluency; what it is, the grade levels students are expected to reach fluency benchmarks and how you can help your child with facts at home.
