The Pledge of Allegiance

Chair Person Reports:

Save Around – Kelly Halcomb- chair- over $4000 in profits. It is a little less than other years. May be due to a difference in books or possibly due to the need of a new fundraiser. A different book (winter wonderland) was shared with parents to review for feedback as a possible replacement. The book is through reggae sales.

Scholastic Book Fair – Aline- chair- $4200 in scholastic dollars. There was some rollover from last year bringing it to $6300. K, 1,2 is able to get scholastic newsletters with the some of these funds. Another scholastic event could be held in the spring. All the scholastic flyers that go home do help benefit the classrooms.

Fall Fest – Trunk or Treat was a good hit at the festival. The food truck was successful enough to waive the fee.

Mums – $2336 profit.

Spirit Wear – We do not have the final bill for that next week. It is believed there is a bigger profit this year than last.

School Pictures – Picture retake day on November 6th, If volunteers are available for a couple hours it would be appreciated but not necessary. 5th graders get to vote on the yearbook cover. Parents can submit pictures for the yearbook. The counselors take a lot of pictures to contribute to the yearbook. Spring pictures are run as a fundraiser for the school.
