-
Nora requested $100 to buy refreshments & snacks for the Parent University workshops hosted at Errick Rd (one this Thursday and one in the spring). She will use the Friends of BEN account for this.
-
There was a lengthy discussion about the future of the Snowflake Shop. There are concerns about a large portion of BEN’s money being tied up in this event and not available for other things. Suggestions were made to up the price of items, so it has its own slush fund; to use an outside business or to change the event to something like breakfast with Santa. Kelly L. will put a poll on Facebook about this. Renee T. said she would like to run it as is for one more year. The discussion was tabled to the next meeting.
-
Julie reported for Merrie Carole who was absent. BEN received several thank you cards. In addition, a $50 donation was made to the diabetes association and $50 gift card was given to Linda, the secretary who retired
