  • $153.85 for Teacher Appreciation lunch decorations and restaurant tip
  • $442.90 for refreshed History Comes Alive supplies

  • $24.50 related to PBIS gold ticket parties (PBIS has $325.52 left in the budget for this school year)
  • $550 for 3rd grade Nickel City Reptiles presentation
  • $650 for 4th grade Nickel City Reptiles presentation
  • $749.06 in transportation costs to the district for field trips
• Funding Requests:
  • Board approved $2,500 for special assemblies that will benefit all students
  • 5th grade teachers requested a $200 yearly budget for HCA supplies. We’ve requested that they submit a wishlist so that the board can source these items throughout the year.

Nora Update

1^st Band / Chorus Concert since COVID – went really well.
Art Show – Wednesday May 31^st from 4pm to 6pm
Mobile Weapon detectors will be installed and used for all visitors to Elementary Schools in 2-3 weeks

Caring Closet

Mrs Harris came and spoke about the Caring Closet. Goal to provide hygiene products to all students in need – to prevent missing school due to basic needs. Caring Closet was expanded to include non-perishable foods and clothing. Totally free to students and funded by donations and by the NWCSD teachers.

In 2022-2023 school year they provided over 1200 Hygiene items, 450 Items of closthing and 75 families with supplies.

Accepting donations all year long. Potential fundraising opportunities for the PTO next year.

    • Pizza Lunch & Yearbook Signing afterwards – Note went home for donations to 5^th grade
