Funding Requests

  • Mum Sale Profits – $4295
  • Spirit Wear – $426
  • Membership $300 for the year
  • Reimbursed PBIS – $400 for Galaxy Market / Golden Ticket Parties.
  • History Comes Alive – 5th Grade – $217
  • Scholastic Bookfair – Sold 8262.52 and made 3825.24 in scholastic dollars

New Business

Update from Nora O’Bryan – Principal

  • Couple parents hired as monitors / teacher aides. Still hiring!
  • School Store – Galaxy Market is running
  • Reading Challenge was successful program. Kids had fun with the dress up themes
  • Halloween parade is posted on the Google Classrooms
  • Breakfast is now bagged and handed to kids as they walk in to make it easier and more accessible
  • There have been some distribution issues with lunch, has changed up the menus a bit
  • Extracurricular activities have started: Intermural Sports, Spirit Club, Crazy 8 Math Club and Lego Club
  • Art club TBD
  • Fun Room is opened for Recess.

Upcoming Events

Intermural Sports

  • Session 1 | Grade 5 – October 19 – November 30
  • Session 2 | Grade 4 – December 7 – Jan 26
  • Session 3 | Grade 2 & 3 – February 1 – March 22

Permission slip should come home 2 weeks before grade level starts. 8am on Tuesdays. No supervision before 8am. Do not just drop off. Wait in car until temp checked. Remind App for communication

Picture Day Retakes

  • If you are unhappy with your child’s picture, retakes will occur on 11.18.
  • Bring old photos to exchange. Cannot keep old photos and get new.
  • Yearbook ordering is open

School Spirit Club

  • Run by Mrs. Falzone – 8am – 9am on Wednesdays.

Spirit Wear

  • Orders should be in this week. Sorting
  • Deliver to School next week – Before Thanksgiving!

Perfect Presents Catalog (Winter Wonderland)

  • Catalog came home this week. Orders due 11/19
  • Letter inside with all details
  • Pickup on December 20 – Blue Gym

Poinsettia / Wreath Sale

  • Pickup December 1st – Blue Gym 12:45-530pm
  • ~50 Orders

Mini Pies

  • Thanksgiving treats for all staff – Teacher Appreciation
  • Volunteers for setup

Christmas and April Break Teacher Appreciation

  • We will send out a survey to all teachers to learn what resources they need / what they are buying out of their own pocket
  • PTO Collect donations to ask what they go through

Merry Moose

  • Shop will be open during school on December 6-8 for kids to go shopping during the school day
  • Parents will send kids in with money, a shopping list & budget for gifts.
  • Looking for volunteers to pre-write gift labels
  • Items range between .50cents – $5

Grinch Night

  • Will be held via Zoom December 17 @ 6pm
  • Volunteers needed to package kids goodie bag – Hot Chocolate, Popcorn, Ornament Craft
  • Popcorn / Hot Chocolate / Ziplocs Donations needed
  • Grinch will do live reading of the book on zoom

Upcoming Volunteer Needs

  • Looking for a parent to update the monthly Volunteer / Reminder forms and submit to the school for distribution. [Home / Evening Commitment]

  • Volunteers will be needed for Poinsettia pickup on 12.1 [Daytime Commitment]

NOTICE: Errick Road is looking for lunch monitors, classroom substitutes and aides – ALL AREAS – call 215-3005 for more information. Super flexible position. Doesn’t need to be every day! Great way to get back into school to see kids!
